Hi, I’m Ashley Fry — founder of So Cloudy, a business built to help Australian companies get their digital presence right, without the fluff.
With over 15 years of experience in telecommunications and IT, and nearly 5 years running So Cloudy, I’ve led hundreds of projects across web development, hosting, cloud infrastructure, phone systems, and business automation.
At So Cloudy, we focus on practical, results-driven solutions — whether that’s building a modern WordPress website, fixing email and DNS headaches, setting up 3CX and VoIP systems, or integrating CRMs and APIs so everything talks to each other properly.

Outside of work, I’m a proud husband and dad to two beautiful kids. I love AFL (go the Blues!), discovering new craft beers, firing up the BBQ with family and mates, and spending time down the beach whenever I can.
Jay is our Business Development Manager at So Cloudy, bringing extensive experience from a diverse career in retail and sales. He has previously managed large teams as a Retail and Area Manager with Chemistry Warehouse, worked in the solar industry as a Sales Consultant, and also led operations as a Tyre Shop Manager. This broad background gives him a strong understanding of customer needs and a practical approach to building business relationships.
Outside of work, Jay is a passionate sports fan – he loves AFL (and proudly supports the Adelaide Crows, the best team in the league!) and also follows the NFL. Most importantly, he enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends.
I’m an operations-driven client services professional with well-established experience in fast-paced digital environments. At So Cloudy, I support client relationships, internal coordination, and project delivery, helping ensure work is delivered smoothly across multiple services and teams.
I focus on clear communication, strong organisation, and practical problem-solving to keep projects on track and clients well supported.
Outside of work, you’ll likely find me spending time with my two dogs or discovering new local cafés, always on the lookout for a great flat white and a cosy spot to unwind.
I’m a Web Developer with experience in making and updating websites using WordPress, CodeIgniter, and Laravel. I’ve worked on different projects, like building systems for schools and online stores for businesses.
Outside of work, I enjoy riding my motorcycle on weekends to Marilaque. I go there to relax, breathe fresh air, enjoy the nice views, and feel the peaceful vibe of the road. Sometimes, I even get a nice “pitik” (photo) from the pro photographers along the way.
I’m an SEO Specialist with 7 years of experience working across different niches and local businesses in Australia, UK, US, and Europe. My expertise spans Technical SEO, where I improve site performance, crawlability, indexing, and overall website structure to support stronger organic visibility. I also handle on-page optimisation, including keyword targeting, metadata improvements, internal linking, and content refinement to boost rankings and enhance user experience.
For off-page SEO, I work on guest posting, local directory submissions, and strategic email outreach to build high-quality backlinks and strengthen domain authority. I also specialise in Local SEO, including Google Business Profile (GBP) optimisation and Apple Business Connect optimisation, helping businesses increase local rankings, visibility, and customer engagement.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my cats, reading books, and exploring local restaurants. I enjoy travelling locally and around South East Asia. I’m also passionate about staying active, whether it’s training for a 21km marathon or hiking and climbing peaks.
I streamline business operations by automating sales, quoting, scheduling, and service workflows across a range of CRM and service management platforms. My focus is on removing manual tasks, integrating tools, and creating a seamless end-to-end experience for both teams and customers—from the initial enquiry and quote right through to installation and ongoing service.
Outside of work, you’ll often find me on a hiking trail or enjoying a good trail run. I also love exploring new places and travelling whenever I can.
